Events, Shows and Project PR

Fenella Taylor PR work with a wide range of companies and organisations on Shows, events and awareness campaigns. We get events, issues and companies noticed very effectively. We can help you too.

Scotland’s Trade Fairs are the only national trade gift fairs north of the border and Fenella Taylor PR executes a PR and marketing campaign to support the Shows, in both the autumn and spring, and heighten awareness of the retail sector in Scotland.  This involves press relations, social media, Talking Shop seminar theatre, sourcing speakers and awards. Fenella Taylor PR is an integral part of the events team.

The Loch Lomond Byelaws Campaign
In 2005 the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park proposed amending certain byelaws, most notably imposing a speed restriction of 7mph across nearly half of the Loch. Fenella Taylor PR was engaged to mount a PR campaign against this proposed speed ban.

Through lobbying the media across Scotland, organising stunts to attract publicity and lobbying influential people the campaign attracted widespread media coverage.

Loch Lomond Dragon Boat Challenge
Fenella Taylor PR devised the idea of Chinese Dragon Boat racing on Loch Lomond as a fundraiser in aid of Bobath Scotland, the charity for children with cerebral palsy.

In the initial two years publicity was crucial and through celebrities, such as Carol Smillie and the Blue Peter team, widespread media coverage, including broadcast television, put both the event and the charity firmly on the Scottish events calendar.
